A few weeks ago, I posted a blog sharing about the Bible's repetition of "In Him" and what it means to be in connection with Christ.

We don't experience the benefits of the Bible simply by calling ourselves "Christian," or by being a good person, but as we entrust our lives to Jesus Christ. As we do this, we can be certain that the blessings of the Bible are ours.

Once we are "in," there are countless benefits to trusting in Jesus. This is the clear reason why billions of people around the world have put their trust in Him, and have chosen to trust in His ways.

Wayne Hilsden, Pastor of King of Kings church in Jerusalem recently shared: "We are sons and daughters of the King, so why do some of us live as if we're underprivileged?"

1. We have God's favor wherever we go

When we walk where Christ has called us to walk, and do what Christ calls us to do, we are surround by the favor of God.

Even when we face bad situations, and obstacles and pain, we still see the favor of God actively providing for, helping us, and promoting us as we trust in God's care for us.

Like Joseph long ago:
He was the youngest brother, and God's favor gave him dreams of how God would use him later on in life.
His brother's sold him into slavery, and God's favor caused him to be the lead servant.
His master's wife accused him of adultery and sent to prison, and God's favor caused him to be the lead prisoner.
By God's favor, he interpreted dreams in prison, but was forgotten for a season.
Then in a moment, God's favor promoted him to second in command of the ruling nation of the world. 

Everywhere he went, Joseph experienced God's favor. It is the same for us as we entrust our lives to Christ. For instance, you may lose your job, or be demoted like Joseph, but God's favor can meet you there and help you go even further than before.

2. We have rich satisfaction and fulfillment in our hearts

Hebrews 11:6 tells us that "It is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him."

Obviously, Christians don't have trouble with the first part - "believing God exists."

The faith that the Christian spends their lives learning to accept is trusting the care and concern of God for every part of our lives. That He will bless and reward and care for us as we seek Him.

Sensing this care and concern of God brings such amazing rich satisfaction and fulfillment in our hearts.
