Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me (John 15:4, ESV).

The presence of God is the only way we’re going to stay encouraged — not discouraged — in this world. And one of the best ways I know to enter into His presence is through His Word.

Read it. Abide in it. Meditate on it. Declare it aloud. The more you feed yourself with God’s Word, the more you’ll build up your faith, overcome fear and walk in the empowerment of His presence!
