Six Biblical Principles on Spiritual Influence.
Session 1:
Truth Plus Joy
One of the fruits of the Holy Spirit in our lives is joy. Yes, God wants you to be happy and holy, not just one or the other. When people see the incredible joy Jesus gives us, they will want what we have.
Session 4:
Truth Plus Faithfulness
God calls us to faithfulness over fame. All of the fruits of the Spirit are simply parts of God’s character. He calls us to be like Him, to be like Jesus, and to reflect His good nature to the world around us. We are called to be faithful like Him, so the world can see His faithfulness.
Session 2:
Truth Plus Peace
When we put our faith in Jesus, we experience peace with God, and the peace of God. As Christians, God calls us to be peacemakers with others as well. God promises to give us a peace that passes understanding.
Session 5:
Truth Plus Patience
In a world that wants everything in an instant, spiritual maturity is patient and trusts and waits on God. We know that waiting on God is never wasted time, and that He is always working for our good, and His glory.
Session 3:
Truth Plus Gentleness
Too often, believers get passionate about the truths of God’s Word and if they are not careful they can come across as harsh and rigid. God wants to give us a gentleness in how we share and present truth.
Session 6:
Truth Plus Love
When we experience God’s love deep down, we will be able to love others with the love we ourselves received from God. When we walk in both truth and love we will grow in spiritual influence in our homes, workplaces, churches and communities, and point people to Jesus.

Truth + Love = Influence.
Truth Plus Love is the formula for transforming our lives and influencing the world for Christ. It begins as we seek to develop the fruit of the Spirit in our lives: "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control" (Galatians 5:22–23 esv). As the Holy Spirit develops these traits within us, it transforms our character and makes us appealing ambassadors for Christ. We naturally begin to draw others to love of Christ within us . . . and to the truth found in God's Word.
