God Rewards Those Who ...

One of the fundamental Scriptures on faith states, "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." (Hebrews 11:1-3, 6).

As believers, we have already come to the conclusion that God exists. But ... God also want us to believe that He will reward us for earnestly seeking Him! This is the second essential element of God pleasing faith.

God is a rewarder.

We can put our trust in this - that God is good, loving, for us, and rewards us as we earnestly seek Him in our lives. We have to believe that God is going to help us. He will!

He calls us to earnestly seek Him. This word in the original languate of the Biblical text is "ekzeteo" which is "to seek out, search for, investigate, scrutinise, seek out for one's self, beg, crave, demand back, require." It mostly refers to "demand or require." There is something about the blessing of God on our lives that we must demand from the loving arms of our Father God - that we require of Him - that we pursue with all of our hearts and lives. All the while, trusting in faith that is is part of His inherent nature to care for us.
