Fan Into Flame

There are times when you are not sure which way to go next, and then there are times when you know clearly that God is speaking to you. Such is the case with Ignite Conference. We have a strong, clear sense of God's direction to hold Ignite - Student Evangelism Conference this coming September 9-10, 2011 in the Twin Cities.

I feel God is really going to bless this gathering, and that many, many students will leave our time together forever changed with a passion to spread the Good News of Jesus in our generation! Couldn't help but feel if we were not obedient to step out in faith on this, something really important would be missing in many student's lives.

Paul wrote to his mentee Timothy saying, "for this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you" (2 Timothy 1:6, ESV).

And Daniel 12:3 states, "And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever." (ESV).
