Oh Canada!

Just returned from an exhausting and extremely fun trip with Michelle to Eastern Canada for our 5 year wedding anniversary.  In less than two weeks we drove over 50 hours across two Canadian provinces and eight US states, seeing all the Great Lakes and Niagra Falls.

This trip marked our visiting of nearly every major Canadian city we hadn't already seen.  On this trip we spent time in Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City and Toronto.  Montreal quickly became our favorite.  We fell in love with Montreal during our short stay - large French speaking city made up mostly of young adults.  People were very kind there.  We also enjoyed a Cirque du Soleil show.  Supposedly Cirque originally started in Montreal many years ago.

In Quebec City, we stumbled our way around, knowing very little French (and the people there speaking much less English than Montreal).  There we also discovered the delicacy of a French croissant.  

Before heading home, we visited Niagra Falls briefly and enjoyed every minute of it.
